Motorcycle trailering has been getting more common.
The next few pages will show the hitch I built
as it is mounted on my 1982 Yamaha XJ1100J motorcycle. Photo above is from
a visit to Bryce Canyon during the summer of 2002.
Yamaha does not recommend using the XS 1100
or XJ 1100 motorcycles to pull trailers. I have described my home-built
hitch in responce to requests from fellow club members about the process
I went through to build my hitch. Should you choose to build a hitch against
the advice of Yamaha, and injure or kill yourself, I will not be held responsible.
